Mr. Mohamed Naguib has served at the boards of various prominent banks and corporations in Egypt and has accumulated nearly 40 years of experience in the fields of Banking, Leasing and Credit. Between 2011 and 2018, Mr. Naguib was Chairman and Man-aging Director of SAIB Bank and prior to that as Vice-Chairman and Head of the Credit and Investment Committee at Banque Misr. Mr. Naguib had also served at Misr International (MIBank) for over 20 years as General Manager of Credit and Marketing before joining Incolease as their General Manager & Member of the board from 2000 till 2010. Further-more, Mr. Naguib served as Non-Executive Chairman of Misr Bank-Europe in Germany for two years as well as his membership of the boards of the National Bank of Egypt, the Civil Aviation Finance Holding Company, and the Small and Medium Sized Projects Fund among many others. Mr. Naguib has attended various banking and credit seminars across the Unit-ed States and the UK in addition to retaining in the state of Colorado for 12 years. Mr. Naguib holds a bachelor’s in accounting from Cairo University and an MBA from the American University in Cairo as well as being CPA certified.

Mr. Nader Ghabbour (Group Chief Executive Officer) brings over thirteen years of specialized experience in the automotive industry to his role, which he has cultivated through the managerial and operational positions he has held at GB Auto. Prior to his current role, Mr. Ghabbour served as Group Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for a multitude of vehicular operations in Egypt and the region. Beforehand, he had served as Passenger Car Chief Operating Officer and Project Management Officer Leader. Mr. Ghabbour trained in Mergers and Acquisitions at the London Business School in London He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Boston University, and an MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid.

Sharif Abdelnour brings over two decades of leadership experience across investment banking, agribusiness, petrochemicals, and logistics to his role as CEO of GB Capital. A Harvard Business School MBA graduate and former Goldman Sachs investment banker, Sharif has consistently driven large-scale growth and operational excellence across both early stage and mature businesses.
Before joining GB Capital, Sharif was the CEO of Nile Union Meat Company, where he built a vertically integrated platform for red meat imports and distribution between Sudan, Egypt, and the GCC. He successfully led cross-border operations, secured major funding rounds, and established strong relationships with regulatory bodies and distribution networks. Earlier, as CEO of Agility Egypt, he launched the company’s operations from the ground up, establishing a state-of-the-art logistics center and developing one of the country’s leading 3PL platforms.
Sharif’s early career included pivotal roles at Innovene (previously BP Petrochemicals) and Goldman Sachs in London, where he focused on petrochemical investment strategy and cross-border M&A advisory, respectively. He holds a BA in Economics from Duke University and also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris.
Known for his strategic vision and ability to execute in complex environments, Sharif now leads GB Capital’s mission to innovate and expand its footprint in the non-bank financial services sector.

Mr. Sherif Tawadros is currently the Senior Vice President Finance for GB Capital. He has under his belt over 29 years of experience in the field of finance in Treasury & Cash Management, Banking, Leasing Company Portfolio Management, Financial & Strategic planning. Prior to joining GB Capital, Mr. Tawadros worked for Xeros for 26 years starting in 1991 in several countries spanning Egypt, USA, Czech Republic, Slovakia & UK. Mr. Tawadros holds a BA in Business Administration and MBA from the American University in Cairo.

Mr. Ibrahim Naguib has accumulated over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. Mr. Naguib currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Passenger Car Operations where he is responsible for both Sales and After Sales operations. Mr. Naguib first joined GB Corp in 2003 as the Tires Department General Manager where he managed to double the business turnover in a period of three years. In 2007, he took charge of the Commercial Vehicles business where he managed to grow sales volumes and expand market share. In 2009, he assumed the role of Sales and Marketing Director for the Hyundai and Mazda franchises. After briefly relocating abroad, Mr. Naguib returned to GB Corp in 2016 where he was appointed SVP of the Passenger Cars sales operations where under his leadership, market share surged to an unprecedented 36%. Mr. Naguib holds a BA from the American International University in London, UK and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands.

Mr. Sherif Samy is an experienced senior executive and advisor in the areas of financial markets and services in addition to investment and corporate governance. He is currently non-executive chairman of a real estate asset management company and serves on the boards of directors of the state’s project finance arm (the National Investment Bank), the Universal Health Insurance Authority, in addition to several listed and privately held companies in the education, venture capital, fund management and private equity sectors. Additionally, he is the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Social Insurance Fund and of the International Advisory Board of the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority. Also, member of Board of Trustees of the French University in Egypt.
Mr. Samy served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Commercial International Bank from October 2020 to March 2023. Mr. Samy has also served a four-year term (ending 2017) as Chairman of Egypt’s independent non-banking financial regulatory authority (FRA) where he achieved a major legislative and regulatory leap in capital markets, insurance, mortgage, leasing, private pensions, factoring and microfinance.
He served on the board of the Central Bank of Egypt (2013 – 2017), its Monetary Policy Committee and Chaired its Audit Committee. He was also Chairman of the Financial Services Institute, the Egyptian Institute of Directors and a member of the board of the country’s National Payment Council and its Anti Money Laundry Unit.
In 2014, Mr. Samy was the first Egyptian to be elected to the board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO); he was reelected for a second term in 2016. He was also elected president of the Union of Arab Securities Authorities in 2016 / 2017. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Banque Misr’s investment arm “Misr Capital” and a board member of Banque Du Caire. Starting from 2007, he was appointed for several consecutive terms to the board of the investment promotion agency (GAFI).
